Before You Ride

Everything You
Need To Know

Still have questions? We've got you covered.

What fitness level do I need?
The camp is best suited for intermediate to advanced riders. You should be comfortable with 3–5 hour rides, steady climbing and varied gravel terrain. Shorter customized routes are available.
What kind of bike should I bring?
We highly recommend bringing your own gravel bike. Wider tires are ideal, with 40mm working for many riders and 45–50mm tubeless tires being ideal for the terrain.
What gearing do you recommend?
Colombia means climbing. We strongly recommend low gearing. Even experienced riders may appreciate easier gears on the longer climbs.
What airport do I fly into?
José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Rionegro, Colombia. Airport pickup and drop-off are included for flights arriving and departing on camp dates.
Is Colombia safe?
The camp takes place in safe, quiet mountain areas. We use secure accommodations, cyclist-friendly rural roads and trusted local partners.
Where are we staying?
You'll stay in a private mountain villa/hacienda with incredible views, shared common areas and secure bike storage.
Are meals included?
All breakfasts and dinners are included and prepared by our in-house chef. Lunches are typically enjoyed at mid-ride cafés or on the road.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Please let us know in advance about dietary requirements such as gluten-free, dairy-free or vegetarian.
Can my non-cycling partner attend?
Yes. Please contact us for pricing and availability.
What is the weather like?
Antioquia typically offers pleasant temperatures in the 60s–70s°F. A light jacket is recommended for early mornings.
