Rocket Revolution co-owner Ben Renkema was one of the original employees of Boyd Cycling, giving him a relationship with Boyd and firsthand knowledge of the company and its wheels that goes back to its earliest days.
Today, Rocket Revolution has grown to become one of the largest Boyd Cycling dealers in the world.
Ben and Rocket Revolution co-owner Christy “Rocket” Keely also bring decades of experience from professional cycling. Both spent years racing professionally at the highest levels of the sport, riding and racing countless combinations of wheels, tires and equipment along the way.

Our Boyd Cycling Experience Center makes choosing your next wheelset incredibly simple.
Bring your bike to the Rocket Revolution studio in Travelers Rest and choose the Boyd wheelset you want to experience.
We take care of everything else.
Our team will professionally install the wheels on your bike with the appropriate tires, cassette and brake rotors so that when you leave Rocket Revolution, your bike is completely ready to ride.
Then go ride.
Take them up your favorite climb. Ride them on the roads you know. Hammer your favorite gravel loop. Take the mountain bike onto your local trails.
You aren’t riding someone else’s demo bike around a parking lot.
You’re experiencing the wheels on your bike, with your fit, on your terrain.
Keep them for a few days and really get to know them.
Love them? Great. We’ll get you set up with your own pair.

Our Connection
Our History with Boyd Cycling
Our connection with Boyd Cycling goes back long before Rocket Revolution became a Boyd dealer. Ben Renkema was one of the original employees and wheel builders at Boyd Cycling, working alongside Boyd in the early days of the company and gaining an intimate understanding of what goes into designing, building and perfecting a great bicycle wheel.
Over the years, that relationship has continued to grow. Ben and Christy “Rocket” Keely spent many years racing professionally and have raced Boyd wheels at some of the biggest events in the country. Together, we have won countless races on Boyd wheels, including three National Championships, along with numerous overall victories across road, criterium, gravel and other disciplines. We’ve ridden these wheels in training, raced them at the highest level, tested different designs and provided real-world feedback based on thousands upon thousands of miles in the saddle.
Today, that history has come full circle. Rocket Revolution is now one of the largest Boyd Cycling dealers in the world, but our relationship with Boyd has never simply been about selling wheels. We know these wheels. We believe in them. We’ve raced them, won on them and watched them evolve over many years.
And the newest generation of Boyd wheels takes things to an entirely different level. The latest Podium wheels represent some of the most exciting products we’ve seen from Boyd—lighter, faster and more refined, while maintaining the ride quality and durability that have made us believers in Boyd for so many years.
